It was a red letter day for one of our favourites, Cliff’s Edge, today when he scored his second Group 2 victory in the Schweppes Crystal Mile at Moonee Valle and taking his prizemoney over the $1 million mark. Congratulations to all his connections.
Yulong January (King Of Prussia – Duty With Honour) kept his unbeaten record intact at Randwick today. Sold through Bucklee Farm’s 2017 Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale draft, he looks to have an exciting future. Congratulations to his connections, Yulong Investments, Ciaron Maher Racing and his breeders, loyal clients Allan and Cheryl Price.
Some of the first new editions at Bucklee Farm for 2018.
What a great story this is, not only was it Harry Coffey’s 1st Group 1 win, it was also the 1st Group 1 winner born & raised here at Bucklee Farm. Congratulations to all involved.
It was a good day for Bucklee Farm progeny today at Sandown with Miss Norway winning the 3yo Fillies Bm64 over 1000m and Weekend Escape running a brave 2nd in the 4yo & up Mares Bm70, also over 1000m. Miss Norway has a 1/2 brother, (Lot 122 Warhorse- Love Valley colt) and Weekend Escape has a 1/2 sister, (Lot 96 Canford Cliffs-Induct filly) in the 2018 Inglis Vobis Gold Yearling sale.
Great effort by Sunday Escape. Congratulations to his connections, who have been great supporters of Bucklee Farm at the yearling sales over the years. There is a 1/2 sister to Sunday Escape, by Canford Cliffs, in the upcoming Inglis Vobis Gold Yearling Sale.
